CHANDELIER ORDERING AND SHIPPING

here you can find information to help with ordering chandeliers and how they will be shipped

1. How do I place my lighting order online?

You are just a few simple clicks away from placing your order online. After you have filled your shopping basket, proceed to checkout by following the simple registration and payment instructions. We will guide you through the checkout process with easy to follow instructions. You can pay by all common payment methods including Masterpayment, PayPal and bank transfer. Your transaction is 100% secure, hosted on SSL certified pages, giving you peace of mind.

2. I am happier ordering by phone.... Can I give you my details over the phone?

We understand this and we would love to talk to you! You can call our phone number at our showroom in Hamburg, Germany: 0049 (0)40 57 22 8014, from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and from 10am to 2pm on Saturday.

3. Is it possible to rush my order?

Typically the lead time from you placing your order to receiving your lights is 3 weeks. In the case of Murano chandeliers the lead time is a little longer, between 4 and 6 weeks. This is because as well as being individually hand crafted lights, the glass studios are more often than not small companies that are only able to produce a certain amount of product each week. Nevertheless, when needed we can often speed up production. All we ask is you email us, or call us, and we will see by how much we can speed up your order.

4. What are my payment options?

We accept a variety of payment methods.

Your order can be transacted on-line using Masterpayment (Visa, MasterCard or American Express), but you can also pay your order by bank transfer or PayPal.

5. Do you offer samples?

Upon request we are able to send out samples of Murano glass for customers who are interested in purchasing a Murano / Venetian chandelier from us. Over the years we have found this to be a much appreciated service, and of great help to our customers when they are undecided or perhaps not too sure about a colour choice. We can also send out lead crystal octagons and pendalogues.

We are also very happy to welcome you in our showroom in Hamburg-Winterhude, where you can take a look at a huge variety of different chandeliers.

6. Do you have a showroom?

Yes, we do have a showroom in Hamburg, Germany. At over 500 square metres we offer you a huge variety of chandeliers of all styles.

Please visit us - our opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and 10am to 2pm on Saturday.

7. Do you have a design service?

Yes, of course. We are very happy to help you design your individual chandelier. Our design team is looking forward to your ideas. Email us via info@thelightcouture.com or give us a call.

SHIPPING

1. When will my order ship?

As soon as the lights are ready with our manufacturer they are shipped to you on a 3-4 day service (Europe mainland). Overland shipping may take longer. We will of course send you the tracking number of your shipment so you can track the shipment of your order. If you do not get a shipping number we will contact you via phone to arrange a delivery date with you.

You can also email us to find out when the order is ready for shipping, and we should be able to give you a pretty firm idea of the shipping date.

2. How are the goods packed?

All our goods are specially packed to cope with the rigours of international shipping. In the unlikely event of any parts arriving damaged, we will send out replacements. Please contact us via e-mail: info@thelightcouture.com

3. Do you ship internationally?

We frequently ship to international customers, and welcome your business. Please email us with your delivery address, and the items you are interested in purchasing, and we will send you a quotation including shipping door to door, and purchasing instructions.

4. What is the shipping cost?

Shipping costs to mainland Europe are included. Shipping costs for the rest of the world are charged according to weight/volume. Please contact us and we will be happy to tell you a price.

5. What if my order is undeliverable?

If FedEx/UPS or any of our other carriers are unable to deliver your order due to an incorrect address, the order will be returned to us. At this stage you will be responsible for any reshipping fees charged to redeliver the package. In the case of absence on delivery day, we will attempt delivery 3 times, and will notify you of such action. After this period the order is returned to us until you are able to take delivery. A redelivery fee will be charged in this instance.

6. My order arrived damaged, what happens next?

Please inspect your goods as soon as you have received them. If any of the items have been damaged, contact us, and we will replace these items for you. If you are able to take a photograph we would appreciate this. In some instances we may collect the damaged item on behalf of our insurance company.
